WELCOME!

We at the Lake Shore Unitarian Society extend our warmest greetings to those interested in learning more about our congregation, its members, and Unitarian Universalism. We hope you'll come visit us soon.

Our services are held Sunday mornings at

10:30 a.m. at the Winnetka Community House on Chicago's North Shore. You can learn more in the Upcoming Services section of this web site.

Our congregation is a comfortable size (about 90 adult members and 45 children), yet dynamic, growing, and actively seeking new members. It is filled with people committed both to one another--we highly value our sense of community--and to the sort of independent, liberal pursuit of religious truth that has been a hallmark of the Unitarian Universalist tradition in America for over two hundred years.

In addition to our main Sunday service, we provide Religious Education classes for our children and more than a half dozen additional ongoing programs that help foster a combination of fellowship, religious understanding, and community service.

Again, please join us for a visit. We'd be delighted to have your company.
